How is oolong tea prepared?

To prepare an oolong tea, we recommend brewing for 4-5 minutes in boiling water.

Oolong teas require longer brewing times (≈ 4-5 minutes) in boiling water to allow a gradual release of flavours. The same leaves can be brewed several times. The best way to serve oolong tea is using the Gong Fu Cha method (short, repeated infusions in a very low-volume teapot). The aromas and flavours are gradually revealed with each successive infusion.
