How herbal tea is manufactured?
Stages involved in producing a herbal infusions.
Herbal teas are very simple to make and only require plants to be dried once, most often using natural methods (shade or sunshine), following the often manual harvest of wild (poppy) or industrially grown (chamomile) plants.
Herbal tea’s complexity instead comes from the wide range of plants used as well as the different parts of the plant, from the leaf (verbena) to the root (liquorice), the flower (lime blossom), the fruit (rose hip) and the bark (cinnamon) and seeds (fennel).
These traditional herbal teas and original infusions (oats, turmeric, cocoa, etc.) contain no theine and can be enjoyed throughout the day.
