Tea from India - Darjeeling 1st flush PHUGURI F.T.G.F.O.P
This plantation has for several years been renowned for producing very fine clonal teas. This batch, harvested and manufactured at the very beginning of April, is a perfect example of Spring Darjeeling. It develops a slight astringency, mixing subtle floral notes reminiscent of rose, with fruity notes of muscatel and hazelnut.
ORIGIN :
Region : Garden located in the picturesque Mirik valley.
Harvest : Terminal bud and 2 leaves.
Singularities : Garden located in the foothills of the Himalayas, very near the Kanchenjunga mountain range.
TASTING NOTES:
Dry leaves: Green, regular with many silver buds.
Attack : Fresh and flowery notes.
Heart : Notes of rose and muscat underlined with a slight astringency.
Long lasting notes : Delicate notes of hazelnut combined with flowery ones.
