Tour Eiffel x DAMMANN Frères COLLABORATION

For our Eiffel Tower project, DAMMANN Frères flavourist Tiphaine Boucleinville-Cardona channelled the work of a perfume-maker’s nose to create enticing fragrances and the work of a pastry chef to achieve a rich balance of flavours. Uniting notes of almond, vanilla and rose, the result is a delicate tea that is both rich and light. What better way to reminisce on Paris’ aura and renown than by combining the enchanting and scientific approach of the parfumiers and pastry chefs that have helped sculpt it?

With more than 70 years’ experience in the creation of favoured teas, including the world’s first contemporary flavoured tea Goût Russe Douchka, at DAMMANN Frères, we like to think our expertise in aroma blending resembles that of a master parfumier. Each recipe demands precise knowledge of not only the tea’s aromatic qualities but also the flavours and aromas of each fruit, spice and flower. Balance is achieved by carefully combining teas, essential oils, spices and aromas to ensure the infusion is enticing, harmonious and rich, both when nosing the dried leaves and on the palate.
