Established in 1604 under the patronage of the lord of Yamagata, the foundry who produces WAZUQU products was handed down through generations. Chosen as gifts for the Japanese Emperors of the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa eras, these teapots have won a number of prizes.
A charming oval shaped cast iron teapot with a nice golden finish patina. This elegant cast iron teapot from Japan is equipped with a filter for the preparation of your tea. To preserve and prolong its life, we recommend washing this teapot by hand, rinsing it with tap water and drying it thoroughly with a dry cloth.
