Victor Cadene is a decorative artist with multiple practices who creates decorative scenes in two dimensions from his drawings that he cuts out and assembles in collages. More than the precision of the line, it is the spontaneity of the composition and the emotion of the color, essential to his work that he seeks. He wants them opulent and theatrical, oscillating between exuberance and harmony.
His creations on paper are the occasion for numerous collaborations that allow him to explore the different processes of the decorative arts. He fulfills these orders from his Parisian workshop, where each element is made by hand, from the drawing to the coloring, including cutting and collage.
