"Nuit à Versailles" : story of a tea
For those who do not know 'Nuit à Versailles', here is a little story …
Our adventure began in 1692, when King Louis XIV granted Sieur DAMAME the privilege of selling Caffé, Thé, Sorbec & Chocolat in France ... So the adventure began to lead DAMMANN Frères Company to establish counters all over the world in search of best teas.
Years have past and a campaign of restoration in the park of Versailles is the occasion to DAMMANN Frères to join forces with the restoration of the statue 'La Nuit' (the night), statue located on the north flowerbed of the park. Comes the idea to create a mixture inspired by the flavors of fruits and the scents of flowers cultivated in the royal gardens of Versailles from the 17th century: Bergamot, kiwi, yellow peach, orange blossom and violet flower combined with a green tea to produce a highly fragrant blend in a truly regal infusion of vegetal, floral and fruity notes ; it will be « Nuit à Versailles »
